airbag light randomly came on last night....any thoughts?

For less than $20 you can be set up to deal with this problem
buy a SERIAL cable from Autonostics.com (NOT USB!) Buy a $60 OBDTOOL cable if you want something a little higher quality.
download the free VWTOOL software, and have at it.
