I wouldn't think so... there isn't any adjustment. Everything is being bolted up to fixed points.

Agreed, unless they remove the upper control arms, which isn't necessary

Default If they remove the halfshaft, then yes, an alignment is in order......

My experiecce is that in order to remove the half shaft, the lower control arm needs to be removed. Getting everything back exactly where it came from is unlikely, but not impossible. If they are just replacing the CV boot, then no, an alignmnet is not required.
