Default All the horrors, busted knuckles, trials and tribulations disappear...

The roads are slick you make a spirited right turn unto a 4 lane street (5 counting the left hand turn lane) and the car breaks loose, the *** starts to pass you, you stay on the gas, counter steer and the car predictably slides and corrects itself with the precision of a brain surgeon. I LOVE MY A8. I cannot wait for my S8.

It just came out of the garage. I washed all the salt out, bottom sprayed with hot water etc.

Default Was it this salty? That's salt not snow. 500 miles in upstate NY.

Default I'm still getting used to Quattro.

Currently my favourite A8 fun is to depart from my local snow covered grocery store parking lot by turning my wheel and accelerating hard. (I pick a suitable spot on the edge of all the cars). The car behaves totally differently than either a front or wheel rear drive car. As you indicated, it's difficult to keep it from straightening itself! (So far I have managed not to break any eggs). I would love a snow covered track, without the danger of trees etc. - then I could really explore.

Sooo addicting. Dude, just one more turn, I promise I'll quit after that.
