Chenishead,

As I recall it is to remind you to take a little breather from driving so you stay fresh. I believe it mentions it in the manual somewhere. I finally was the first to respond to a question I could answer! I hope to god correctly:-)

The owner's manual says that the vdo screen with tell you when you have been driving for 2hrs straight, at increments of two hours. So it will keep going to 4hrs and then 6.00h if the car is not turned off for more than 10 mins. I went to vegas and it went 2h, 4h and then 6h. I guess it says this is to remind you to take a break. This along with the speed reminders that you can set always crack me up! Then again I guess when your car is the first car in America with 6 airbags (at least in the 97 4.2Q) you might as well have a few extra thousand safety features...

I find the speed warning useless, but then again I have mine set at 100 mph

Default That picture cracks me up

"Purndee" all light up....check engine light on...brake light on.....and you got the car to pass emissions! Trying to get my van to pass right now.....failed twice.....don't know if I should bring it down the street or keep trying myself. Last time high HC, this time high CO.

That was last summer back from vacation, 4 o'clock in the morning, sick, pulling a trailer.

Even my old '87 5000CS Turbo Quattro would do this.
