Alternator Bearings (99' A8Q)
Are they the SAME size? (Delco 800043)
If not, PN for rear bearing?
Regulator PN is... Bosch 1 197 311 511 (14.5V) ($50 ebay)
Looking to pull/replace bearings and regulator
without having to chase parts.. if I don't have too.

The answer:
No.
Timken 203PP & 303PP for typical Bosch 120 Amp Alternator.
These are the high priced spread bearings BTW.
Regulator is Bosch 1 197 311 511

I gave up on rebuilding my alternator since the disassembly on the 150amp units require cutting of the wires and resoldering, plus my commutator was worn quite a bit.
I ordered a reman'd bosch from partsgeek and received it the next day even though I selected ground shipping.
As I recall it was under $200.
