Default Angus - The Eagle has Landed!

I looked in my garage yesterday to see what I had for wires for your mod, and to my surprise I had the parts for your steering wheel mod already! I had bought the parts in December just before I backed out of the deal.

So today I put the harness together (that's a technical term), got all the piece parts, and boxed it very nicely for you.

I will have you the procedure before you get the parts. However, all you'll need to do is:

- remove old wheel
- remove old cancelling ring
- add wiring harness
- make one insulation displacement connection at one of your switches above the radio (for steering wheel lighting)
- make three insulation displacement connections at transmission shifter
- assemble and enjoy your new S8 steering wheel and tiptronic!

You have the tracking number via email and should have the parts on Wednesday or Thursday.

Default Agreed

The reason I am selling it now is because I forgot how it felt.....I remember a review I did of the two wheels, and the conclusion was the S8 wheel is much more of a driver's wheel.

The heat in my MFSW ain't bad either.....

Default Another option for lighting is to tie it to the tip lighting on the shifter.

That way you just have to run all the wiring to shifter only. My shifter switch lights up only when the tip is activated. I wired mine this way, just an option.
