Also i have 80211g and you would be shocked about how many people do not have any security on their wifi networks.. I can stay connectd to AOLIM for 2 miles before i loose connection. I usually have a choice of 2 or 3 sites when i am parked.

Also in NYC because i am a Verizon DSL customer i get unlimited access to hot spots all throughout NYC.. its a great tool. The power supply you are looking for is made by opus solutions.

Its a 12v dc 150watt powersupply that has a lead to turn on and off the computer when the car is on. It will pulse the power button to power up then pulse it to power down and leave 45 seconds of power to let windows shut down. All in all i have just about perfected the car pc. The only issue is a good Am tuner, which is in the works and is aboout 2 months from completion.
