Default I don't know, I'm not convinced that the filter change was the cause only because...

I went 20k miles and almost 2 years. You never know, it's possible. I knew there was a risk when I changed it...

Some people have gone longer w/o any fluid or filter changes but I think 160k is reasonably high even for a facelift car.

Hopefully my other one is ok which'l save me at least $3k. That car fire is sure coming in handy

Default I was a least able to drive it home last night. It's shuddering and slipping and goes into

limp mode after about 5 mins. Once it was in limp mode it felt like I could drive all day at about 45mph.

The limp mode does reset each time I shut off the car and restart it.

I'm not going to drive it again unless I find a local place that would do the swap.

Default Ouch - bummer Bob, you've had a rough coupla months there. Maybe you could finagle...

...lift access somehow whilst //SFesting 8-).
