Default another radio question for A8L

On my earlier post I asked, is there a way to turn the radio off? I know the radio can be muted but what I was really after was finding out if you can completely turn the radio off with the mmi screen up. Example: You are using navigation and do not want the radio call #'s on your dash display. Thanks for all your earlier input.

Hold down the "mute" button and the Radio/CD turns off.
