Took the S8 in for a final "look over" before the extended waranty ran out and got lucky. I'm having the fresh air blower and lower control arms replaced for the price of a $50 deductable. The dealer is getting me for the cost of 70K service and replacing a CV boot, but worth the time and investment. The warranty was well worth the $150 transfer fee to AOA as in addition to above I've had two instrument clusters, the tranny ECU and wiring harness, valve gaskets, misc interior parts and radio replaced at a cost well over $7K. If your thinking of buying one, get the warranty !

...to pile on the miles on these - after mine goes in 3/1 for round 3 of claims I'll report back my 1.5 yr. and ~ 30k (will be @ 118k or so by then) "ownership review" for thosa wundrin'.
20+k / yr. here - no extended warranty means jump from a tree IMO.
