So the tiptronic mod is awesome, about 1/2 through writing the procedure.

So what did I forget to do? Nothing that I thought! But there is a big rubber gromet that goes around the transmission cable to the tunnel assembly and I can bet that it is dislodged.

How do I know this? Cause everytime I park the car and get back into it within 20 minutes I can smell all the darn nasty oil falling on the exhaust right below it in the cabin. It goes right away after the HVAC system starts up.

So now I have to rip the whole console out again to put a gromet in place!

Shame on me!!!!
