You have to do it....relatively easy mod.....go for it!
Once it's done, you have to recode to 00011 so it holds first gear in tip! Now that is fun!

Hi Paul, Thanks for the reply! I was just checking out your site for the directions. I don't trust myself to do it alone, and hoping I can find someone in the area who has done it before that could help (or recommend a mechanic).
Another question- from reading posts, it seems that I can still code to 00011 without the tiptronic, it just wont behave the same in first as with tiptronic- is that correct?

Yes, you can code to 00011 without tip
I would just post in your regional forum for some local guru's help, you could complete it in six hours, buy them some beer and flip the guy a $100!
