labor which is a nice price, but the timing to get my car in is kinda hard. If this was a couple hour job without special tools, I was considering attacking it this weekend. I purchased MEYLE complete tierod assembly for both sides for 130 bucks shipped! Anyone replaced the whole assembly before?

taga8 did it - look for his post. The crowfoot tools were different for existing and new tie rod. They were 38mm and 41mm made by V8 tools. If it's $150 for both sides it may be a very good deal.
I need to do mine soon but havent got around to it. If I cound find $150 here in Minneapolis I would do it...
BTW if my calculations are correct you can use a 1.5" for the 38mm and a 1 5/8" for the 41mm
