Default I went with AAA rims, although TWE & others are probably just as good.

I would NOT recommend ebay for wheels - you have no idea what you're getting. Replicas are heavier than OEMs, but the improved handling with new 255/45/18 tires more than offset any weight penalty for me. Strength? Don't know yet, but OEMs have been known to bend too.

Here's the page I ordered from. They were mounted and balanced, so I put them on myself and saved some more $$$. Center caps are included, although they're the stick-on type and not quite up to OEM spec. But only the Audi cognoscenti can tell the difference. 8^)

Ya AAA was the other I was looking at. I figure the same as far as the weight issue. They will be heavier, but the 19" will help overcome any lose. If you read my current predicament with rims you see I don't have much chose but the get something soon.

The e-bay add does look sweet though, I've tried to get a location so I may be able to check them out, or find someone near him that could swing in and check em.

Default Re: I went with the RS4 reps and like them very much.

They are already on my list, in second spot though. Bitchen rims, but I like the beefier look and hopeful of an easier clean on the 11 spoke. I also have cross cut rotors with Kevlar pads to help minimize the dust. The RS4's would look nice indeed!!! You have any pics with them mounted?

Default There's one in my pic poster (click on my account#),

although it's not a good one and makes the wheel gap look huge:

I plan to lower it with H&R coilovers, to make it look and handle more like an S8. 1Fun S8 has some good photos of his '03 S8:

Default I asked if they were straight or not. If you look at their website,

looks as if they are a small shop. I would definitely determine if they are straight before purchasing. I was looking into these wheels as well, but it does look too good to be true.

Very sharpe!! Do they come in 19"?

What do you expect to drop on lowering it?? Not sure if it's even an option for me, due to the crazy winters we get.

I've left a voice mail for them, and will continue to drop them calls till I can speak with someone (free long distance so no worries).

You've got some great shot in your account, which rides are yours?

Default Yes, 19s are a few hundred dollars more, and heavier.

H&Rs run about $1000-1400, but are highly recommended by many here. The next best option is Bilstein/Eibachs. Learn to use the search feature - there's much to read in the archives.

Default Don't know the weight; they were already mounted.

Close to 60lbs ea with the tire, IIRC.
