After Mid Ohio.....my front left half shaft is shot!!! ;-)

You can hear the bearings click in it as it rotates around....turn the wheel to the right and man does it make noise.....and it's not any less than it was...only louder! The slower you go, the more noise it makes....

I'm just going to replace the whole half shaft. 5 track weekends has caused it to wear beyond limits.....

Skiracer....didn't you buy a rebuilt half shaft from Pep Boys for $175 or something?

I had them rebuild my driver side shaft for $100 with 2 yr warranty at a local shop by me..

I've got one, new, didn't need it. Turned out I just needed a cleaning and a boot. Will take any reasonable offer.

That was over a year ago and there have been no problems. This is by far the most cost effective (and easiest) way to fix these shafts!
