...glowing reviews since.
I put about 50mi WOT on a tt years back - was truly impressed. Let's just say "it's on the List".
I've heard nothing but people raving about the S's. Supposed to be an all around enjoyable rig. Lotta truck for the $ these days.
The only glaring issues I've heard of are regarding the suspension - pricey failures. Surf a forum, I'm sure other 'niggles' exist.
Get an extended warranty - tho - Mikee reports that the EW for his tt was astronomically $$$.
YMMV.
Good luck / report back.

thx
the S i was looking at doesn't have the air ride,i could have a deal for a tt but looks pretty expensive to fix..
i think a v8 will satisfy me plenty, it performs pretty much like a A8 in 0-60 if i'm correct...

He likes his Porsches a lot, too.
Depending where you live you may not find the "winter features" quite as good as they are on other serious-winter-weather rigs. He says things like the defroster, heated seats, AWD in deep snow, heater aren't as effective as our other cars. We both have Range Rovers, which rock in the snow, and both have late model Suburbans, which just excel in the deep snow, sub-zero temps and continuous icy driving conditions.
If you are in a mild climate you'll love the Cayenne S-- he raves about the truck. His caution was just about severe winter conditions where there are better SUVs. It regularly gets to -10F up where we are though, so are on the extreme end of the winter spectrum.
