I've lost mine during a move. I couldn't find any replacements on Ebay and I don't think dealers sell them anymore. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hello,
If the changer is the same as the 99 you can buy it
from just about any place. It's a matu****a model and
should cost about $25.
If you can't find it let me know. I bought one in august
and I can check my records.

I thought I read that the 97 cd changer was made by Alpine?(maybe someone else can confirm) Supposedly, the changer will only work in the Audi, but you should be able to find a lot of sources for Alpine cartridges if that's so.

There are a couple of Alpine cartridges on Ebay now, but odds are against it working for you. Sounds like skiracer did his homework. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6774&item= 1875581959

I'm sure they could still get it though. Give them a call, or better yet, email Clair Audi, you can find the email request on their site.

http://www.clairparts.com</a
