Default No pop-ups here either. Download the latest version of adaware and run it on your machine....

you may have been infected with spyware, a trojan, or other malware product. Go to the URL below and download the free program.

http://download.com.com/3000-2144-10045910.html</a

Default I try to run both Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy weekly.

I find they both find stuff the other doesn't.

Also, make sure your antivirus definitions are completely up-to-date. You are running good antivirus software, yes?

If you're on DSL or cable modem, get behind a hardware router if you're not already, even if you're not sharing the connection. Significant secuirty benefits accrue.

Get Ad Aware at ski's link, and SB S&D below.

Spybot - Search & Destroy

Try disabling Active Scripting in IE. Turn it on when you need it.

Default Try Mozilla for your Web browser

I run Mozilla 1.2.1 which is like Netscape and you can disable all pop-up window requests that aren't from the originating site. Netscape 7 isn't offering this feature, and IE certainly isn't

The product is free and it runs great.

http://www.mozilla.org/</a
