How does one respond given your sig...See my post from a few daze ago re: Lifter Noise

Since I posted the Audi Gods seem to have been appeased and all is quiet. Are you hearing lifter clacking Angus? I don't know what spec is on the D2 motors but on the MC and believe AAN as well Sr. Bentley said that if lifter noise goes away after 2 minutes @ 2K RPM all was well.

Lifter may be shot Angus. Have you considered some ATF to clean things?

M1 is pretty high detergent so doubt ATF would help but...
