The simple solution is>>>
cut and bend a coat hanger into this shape. It works and lasts. Don't tell your wife that you used one of her hangers! They'll multiply aright by themselves when you turn the light off in their closet, and the wifey is none the wiser!

I'm in for one - I can't remove the fishing line off my other (which has held!) as the ball...
...crumbled off the bellows and now there's only a stub left to connect to.

My local bud who briefly had an '03 A8 (!) said he had an RC source. I'll ask Rich next time...

Otherwise, I thought like Ben or someone was having their machine shop make some?
And then, I thought someone (sorry forget who) pilfered their local boneyard and scored like 8 or 10 off like an old V8 or some crap like that. Allegedly one was coming my way, last I heard of it though and that was monthssssss ago.
Dunno. My fishing line holds true 1.5 years later 8-). FWLIW, I did not notice this 'dramatic performance loss' w/o them sadly. Odd.
And What's His Nutz ^here^ did finally apologize, onward and upward we all have bad daze. That was pretty wacked tho heh heh...

Currently testing New Pull rods made in Germany By IGUS
Just testing my new pull rods on the S-8. Hope to do a production run soon after I can confirm they will work properly. Had to wait a couple months for parts to arrive from Germany, but we are working on the Solution I hope. Stay Tuned, John
