I have a 2000 A8L with Ecru interior, and would love to change to sport seats.

Given how few S8's there were in '99 and how many of us want their seats in Ecru! I've been searching and searching, and no joy. Recaro makes a very nice seat that would look right in our cars; it's called the Style. Problem with Recaro is that it can get expensive to try to match a leather ($1500/seat is the figure I've been given). But if there are a few of us who want to replace our lousy thrones with a good seat, and we could give Recaro a batch order for, say, five sets in Ecru, it would be worth their trouble and no doubt get us a decent price. I'll organize it if others are interested.

By the way, it's possible to get this seat in a mechanical version and lose the 800 lbs. of switchgear and electrical motors in our seats, and the maintenance headaches that inevitably accompany same.
