Mine keeps tripping the open/short code. I spliced a new wire in per audipages and it still trips the code (as it gets colder it does it much more now). I suspect the short is in the last 1 inch of wire near the sensor then where I could not replace the wire.

I don't have access to my saved notes (they're in MI and I'm in CO), but someone on Audifans.com has found a relatively inexpensive big truck ABS sensor that fits and works. You might try to search the Audifans archives, especially the V8 section, or even sign on and ask. I'm fairly certain it was the V8 section, but all the 200s and V8s used the same sensors, as far as fitting into the housing is concerned.

Thanks Kneale, I found the number. Does it for sure work with the 97 A8Q? It was not super clear.
