They've got a BUNCH of A8s on Ebay right now, and this one (even though the miles are high) might be a great deal.....any opinions??<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2422095637&cat egory=6005">A8L on EBay</a></li></ul>

It's always a good idea to beware no matter who you may be buying from. I bought my 97 on eBay three years ago and convinced five other eBay purchases from three friends since, all buying A8's. All coming from auctions (most were lease returns) and all have been completely fine. No more problems with our cars than any of the rest of the A8 owners that are writing into this site seem to be experiencing. These cars in my opinion age extremely well.
I checked out that eBay listing you mention in your AW posting. I'm quite convinced this one is going to hit the "buy it now" price. For several reasons, one, being that it currently has fifteen bidders playing. Two, because it's already quite close to being at the "Buy It Now Price." And Three, because there's another three days left on this auction. I think it's a great deal and if you did a title search, and the car has maintenance records and checks out with a mechanic. The mileage on this car means nothing. I bought mine with 25K more miles on it than this one. I'd say check into this one and go for it if you can pull it off, seems like a really nice car being offered at a great price. That's a hell of a lot of car for $27K.
If I needed one right now, I'd be bidding on this one for sure.
Just My Opinion.
Good luck!
