I hear you, but this one you won't want to reverse...;-)
I heard another S8 pull away a while back, and TBH it sounded quite boring to me now...

Oh, if you really want to reverse it - which is very unlikely - a new lower rear 'spoiler' costs ~ €160.

Is the entire system stainless steel? Who makes the final mufflers? And finally, do I have a choice for rear tips? Maybe oval like RS6 or DTM style?
I am pretty much a quaranteed in.

It's stainless steel, IIRC they make the mufflers themselves. It's basically a straight through (no chambers) with some damping alongside the pipe to eliminate the high notes.
Initially I wanted the RS6 style oval end-pipes, but they convinced me it wouldn't fill the cut out in the lower 'spoiler' very well. Two pipes just fill out it better...
Different pipes will be possible, but at cost. These are included in the deal.
