Atlanta
r there any Atlanta people who get together on a regular basis other than the Last Sunday meet at Perimeter. Do u guys have drives other than one a year, or is there a meeting point other than the VW crowd. I would like to know, and maybe have a meet/drive set up for this spring/summer. If things go well, we can do it again in fall.

Driving events, drives.
There was an Audi Club driving event at Roebling Road in Savannah last month. There is another club event at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, I think in October.
Last Fall, a couple of the club guys led a N. Ga mountain drive, we had about 9-10 cars.
Monitor the SE forum for all of the above.
Did you go to last Sunday's meet? I usually go, but got tied up this month doing other things.

Ah! OK.
It's great. Wife had her first wreck in 15+ years, and dinged the front bumper cover. Didn't even get into the hood or headlights.
The hood and front fenders had a lot of rock dings. That car was built right after the EU mandated low-VOC paint, and I just don't think they had figured out how to make really durable, hard, low-VOC paint.
So while it was in getting the new bumper, I had them shoot the hood and front fenders. The car now looks brand new.

Re: Ah! OK.
Sorry to hear that, but u r right, I bet the car looks even better now. If u gonna drive it, it will get chipped, but oh well, that's y i guess they have the body shops. Yeah let me know if u guys plan on anything. AUDI boards r slow and uneventful. I just purchased a E46 M3. I wanted that car so bad, but the S8 is something else. Will sell the BMW later this year. Did place an order for the new RS4, but well see how things go. Good to hear from u.

I remember that car . . .
