Audi Sues Nissan for Q, BWM sues Nissan for M, GM sues Nissan for Z
What a joke? Nissan sues Audi over the "Q." I hope BMW hits Nissan with a lawsuit for the letter "M" which it's obvious the ugly duckling M45 is no M car. And, the original Z was stolen from the Z-28. Now if Audi chose to name the new SUV, B-210 or Stanza I could possibly see a lawsuit. What a joke!

Re: *^&%$*! lawyers- they need to get a life sometimes.......
No, it's not the *^&%$* lawyers who need to get a life, it's the *^&%$* American public. We don't make up cases out of thin air...take your complaints to the corporate schmucks who instigate this goofy litigation.

" the corporate schmucks who instigate this goofy litigation" ARE usually lawyers ;-).......
Corporate lawyers, but lawyers nonetheless. I guarantee that a CEO/President of a corporation does not instigate litigation without consulting (and usually encouragement) from the company lawyers. I'm not castigating all lawyers- but like they say, the barrel of bad apples can hide the good one. My favorite Bloom County has Opus sitting in the law office of Steve Dallas (he's Steve's assistant), bored to tears, nothing to do. Suddenly, Opus has an epiphany and says "What this town needs is TWO lawyers, yea!" LoL!!!

Re: Lawyers or No Lawyers It's BS!
I dont think it falls on the attorneys. In many cases the corporate attorneys are on call to the corporations. I am sure somebody at Nissan said "Quick, Let's call our attorney and file a motion against Audi." Any good law firm would say it makes good publicity and file the papers. Still, I think it reflects poorly on Nissan. Using a letter in a name is nothing different than what they are doing with the "M." Practice what you preach Nissan!!!

Porsche 911 was actually the "901st" , but Peugeot...
claimed rights to model numbers with a zero in the middle, e.g., 404, 504, Porsche changed the number from 901 to 911 rather than delay/fight. This has been going on for a while.
