Unfortunetly it is like every other car I get. The car is terrific in many ways. Maybe one of the best cars I have ever owned. I have had it for about 5 weeks now ans still can't get used to the size. It does drive like a smaller car, and corners relatively flat etc. I think this may be a good idea though. Get the A$ cab. and switch cars with her as the mood moves me. Almost bought an RS6 they had coming in but would have lost about 8K on the A8 (thats over 3K a week-too much ), and the RS6 even discounted was approaching 90K after the tax difference etc. So I am not unhappy with the A8, maybe just jumped at it a bit fast-It no doubt is the best car of its type on the market today. I have had the XJR(last model), the S500, and the BMW 745i-this is far better than any overall.
I am not trying to discourage any of you who are waiting for their cars-I just may have been a bit too impulsive in my purchase.

there's an old adage in the software business:
it costs $1 to fix a bug when you're designing
it costs $10 to fix a bug when you're coding
it costs $100 to fix a bug during testing
it costs $1000 to fix a bug after you've shipped
it's not directionally incorrect either. never mind hardware!
doody.

Helper, the key is in your first sentence. Your next car may be bought the same way. Just as long as you can justify the purchase and have some fun with it, you`ll be fine !
