Some of you may not know this so I thought I'd share it: through Google's translation capability, one can read (albeit sometimes hard to understand German online magazine. One good example of this is the following article in Germany's AutoBild magazine (autobild.de) comparing the "big 3". Have you used the Altavista translator, as well as the Google? If so, do you have an opinion on which is better?

I cruise eBay.de with Altavista every now-and-then.

Great Germenglish article...I can't wait to pickup and drive this car. It seems like every time a "new writeup" comes out of Europe this vehicle is getting showered with engineering praise. Discounting the few standard items that are now available to the European consumer and the few delayed options to the NA market, this is going to be on sweet ride!

I just used both services to translate the article and they gave me identical translations word for word including the mistakes.

that the warranty/maintainance is listed as 2 years. Isn't it 4 years in the the US?
