Battery cable worked it's way loose on me....
..was without power for about an hour. It reset my clock but not radio settings. In addition, my top third of the dash display that shows radio info (CD, Track, Station, etc..) came back and now works again.
So....on a 2000, no need to sweat the battery swap issue. And I have the Exide battery in her.
