Any idea where I can get a belly pan for my D2 99 A8 for less that $200. After she took a little swim and tanked the alternator, tranny and a few other vital parts I think this part may be important, well at least for the alternator and for driving in deep snow here in winter. Last time I went to a junk yard in the Denver / Boulder area I was rocking it in a 4000. Now with the A8, these things seem to be as rare as Rocking Horse ****e not sure where to go.

I too live in Denver and would be very interested if anyone knows of anywhere. I despise McDonald Audi with a passion. I've only ever found things like this on Ebay, and even that is a crapshoot. There's an A8 "breaker" located in UK. Their prices are very reasonable but I haven't yet confirmed they ship to US.

Sounds like we need to start up a chapter of A/S8 owners in Denver! Although I've never ordered parts from Shokan, I've always had a great turn around time on questions I submitted...

In the 3 years I've owned my A8L, I saw 1 salvage car come up on craigslist around Denver.

I've gotten many quotes on pricing for parts, they charge a ridiculous amount for parts, I have always been able to find the same parts for half the price shokan charges.
