Default The '00 and up one piece headlight units do NOT fit the.....
'97-'99 pre-facelift cars. The fender cutout is different as well as the mounting points. If you want, you can upgrade your '97-'99 projectors to accept the HID system, but I wouldn't try to fit the new assemblies into the old body style unless you really want to put a LOT of time and $$$ into it.

Actually this is a replacement for a damaged unit on my dad's 03 S8.

Default What about Euro housings?
Basically he is faced with a $650 replacement charge for ONE headlight. I told him to hold on, as I could probably get him two Euros for that price. No?
