After some long needed Audimprovements (props to Gabor), I made the mistake of driving Paul's gorgeous/awesome S8 today. Thanks much, Paul! Unfortunately however, my rather more pedestrian "regular" A8 now has a massive inferiority complex. It felt flabby and sluggish on the ride home. I'd be much better off if I didn't know how killer the D2 platform can be. I fear this is gonna be costly... Must have sport mode. Sport mode good. Need more S8. Damn.

I could talk cars and spin wrenches all day any day. And thanks again for your excellent work. It's great to find someone who's so knowledgeable and with a great "touch" too. Also, what a treat to meet Paul and check out his S. Finding "like minded" gearheads is great fun.

No kidding, the A4 feels ghetto after being used to the A8

First one was for oil (my first oil change).

The second one was for the 36mm socket for the oil filter.....and a 6mm 3/8" drive.

I changed the oil in my beast in the time it took Gabor to change the output shaft seal.....

The underside of my car was very clean, no oil leaks (except the tranny drain plug). I put in regular oil....I'm going to keep it that way to keep oil leaks to a minimum.
