Hello, I was hoping for a bit of quick help from you guys who seem to know the location of every wire in these cars ;-).
I was intending to purchase one of Taga's custom-made BT cards for my 2003 S8, but have found that a 25-pin cable that is needed to connect it to is not in my trunk. All I have is the round cable for the Phatbox that has been sitting in my living room for about 4 months, uninstalled. (bummer)
As I have the factory phone kit in my car, I would have thought that this cable would be there, but I am not technically saavy or nor do I have enough time to rip my car apart looking for it.
Would it be in the armrest where the phone connection is supposed to be made? Or do I just not have it at all, do you think?
Thanks in advance

But considering you have OnStar and a factory phone that was a V60, you might not have a brain box.....but you for sure have a telematics box for OnStar.
You really need to figure that one out. My Bently doesn't cover the 03 wiring diagrams.
Not to take away any business from TAGA8, but there was a guy that was selling a little bluetooth device that plugs into the existing V60 cradle, it doesn't integrate with the car much, but acts as a bluetooth dongle with no wiring required.
I kept his address in case I bought an 03, it's zvilleoh@yahoo.com
A few D3 owners bought it and it worked for them, about $300 so not cheap.

Interesting.
I really just want to make use of the mic & speakers I "paid" for - it would be really cool if the dash & steering controls worked (even with Taga's the steering doesn't work), but ...
I wonder if the mute works with the other guy's device? Thanks for the email, I will contact him and report back if there is anything interesting.
