Has anyone here tried Akebono ProAct pads on the A8 yet (for street use)? In doing a search on pads, have seen much mention of EBC Greenstuff, Hawk, Ferrodo, et. al., but nothing on Akebono.
I ordered a set from TireRack.com, but just wanted to check and see if others had tried them yet. If not, I reckon I'm the test case.

Here, here. They are both rare, neat cars that seem to have more in common than not ... tranny issues, oil leaks (though the A8 is worse in that regard), etc., etc. I didn't think the A8 would draw as much attention as the SVX, but it does ... just different attention. ![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Anyhoo, I put a set of Akebonos on the SVX and they seem to be doing well; very little brake dust and as quiet as a church ant. I can only hope that I get the same results on the A8.
