I saw on this forum one time a metal block that goes behind the brake master cylinder or somewhere in that area. Can someone send me that design again with the drawing and specs? If you are interested in one my dad owns a metal shop and can get them made cheaply I think?

Before you installed The Block, did you happen to do the "test" where -- with the car parked, motor running, and hood open -- push hard on the brake pedal and watch the master cylinder? Did it move? And if not, I wonder why mine (and the M/C's on several other A8's and an S8) did.
BTW: The M/C on Paul's A8 does not move.

In any case, it doesn't mean that the pedal feeling has improved. At "panic" stops, there still a hell lot of pedal travel and ABS is rarely kicking in. EBC greens are a bit better than stock, but I think I need to go to cross-drilled rotors up-front. Didn't put F2500 due to squeal (even the EBCs are not as quiet as OEM pads).
