Brake Switch code question
Is this the basic switch under dash that tells the brake lights to come on when you press the brake?
I hope it is. I have the new switch and it looks easy to replace.

But, this is a common failure item on lots of VW/Audi's ...I've replaced it on 2 out of 3 of my cars, out of necessity...brake lights sometimes staying on after releasing, plus the games it plays with ESP, etc..

Two switches?
I see two switches here. Replacing the one that I have the part for but what is the other switch? What is it for and is that the one that is bad?
Why is that air duck in the foot well such a pain! It is not German engineering, that is "oh **** we forgot to get the air from here to here. Stick this thing here. It should fit..."
