The A8 I'm planning to get currently has 18" wheels, But they're a bit to blingy for me (see pic) and I think 17" rims would be better for winter driving on the poor Alaskan roads. So I'm hoping to sell the current rims I believe the guy said the brand was ADS but Google just turns up wheel ads, and I couldn't find any on Ebay. The connection wasn't very good so I probably misheard him.
Anyone know what those rims are and how much the could be sold off for?
Tire Rack has some Sport Edition 17" rims that are only $88 each and searching on Audiworld it sounds like they make decent winter rims, but I think I'd rather just get some used OEM rims.
What years and models of Audi's rims are the proper size for a '01 A8? And what is the going rate for used OEM wheels? There's some in the AW classifieds from a '00 A8 for $875 for Goodyears but that seems a bit steep when I can get new Sport Editions w/ Kumho All Season tires mounted and balanced shipped for a couple bucks cheaper.
Thanks again for the help guys.

They had tires on them, but one really wasn't usable.
Get the stock 17" A8 forged wheels for your Alaska winters!!! Or maybe some steel wheels.

Hopefully with some all season tires.
What other model Audis have rims that would fit right, with the proper backspacing and lug pattern?
