Anyone think it's a deal around $8k? New tranny 70k miles ago from dealer...

No '97 came with xenon. '98 was the first year with the Electronics Package that included HIDs. Unless it was added with aftermarket equipment!

I can't tell form the pict, but Xenons were not available until '98. However, there are quite a few here who have retrofit it to their '97s.

Re: the tranny, it's good that it was replaced, but I hope they changed the fluid by now. When I bought my 98 with 56K on it, the fluid was in horrible shape.

The xenons did not have clips, they have tamper proof torx bits.
