Default Cars back in shop-fuel pump out again

Still has the ongoing problem of a flat spot at idle to start off when full tank down to 3/4 then all comes right?
Three techs scratching their heads at this stage.
If I release tank cap things come right so it must be a vent issue. fingers crossed

Default Re: Cars back in shop-fuel pump out again

I wonder if the charcoal canister (is there one?) is clogged. Overfilling the tank used to overload some of those older car's canisters. I don't really know if this is a possibility, but if you ask me it sounds possible....

Default thanks -two days later the problem may be solved

seems the pump was fitted just slightly wrong with a cross over tube not quite where it should be as a back flow into the pump resiviour causing the car to drown when should be venting and also to not pick up last ten liters of fuel in left side of tank=refit tommorrow I will post end result with pics
