The car's in for its last CPO service; asked them to do a thorough check-up.

They came back with some oil leaking from the propshaft seal and from the transmission seals. They'll replace, while also suggested changing the fluid & filter for the tranny (50.5k miles). I told them to go ahead, but warned them about the amount of ATF that needs to go in. I believe it's ~7qt. I'll send them the Audipages procedure note.
Well, at least I got a 2y/24k addnl. warranty from the dealer after the CPO, so if they screw up they'll have to eat the cost.

..talked me out of it. Today he said they don't need to do the change, but since they'll be working on replacing some tranny seals, he offered to do this at the same time (at $300).
I asked for the mechanic's reco (the guy has an S6 himself), and he indicated that it might not be a bad idea. I cautioned him (twice) about ensuring that 7+, not just 4, quarts go into the tranny before they close up. He did tell me himself up-front that they only test the level of the fluid replacement at warmed-up temperature for the pump to be properly operating. I'll let you know how it goes.
It's at University Park Audi in Dallas.
