I recently tried to remove the cd holder from the cd box in the trunk...with one cd still in the play mechanism..stupid me..the message "CD00ERR" showed on the cd player screen..i removed the cd box from the car, disassembled the box and then carefully removed the cd that was still in the play mechanism and reassembled and reinstalled everything..the error message still comes on and there is no cd audio..what shall I do?

I think the belt or the motor is not spinning due to something stuck in it. Open it up and turn it on and off, reset power to see if anything's trying to move but got stuck somehow.
I fixed mine, but the error message is different, but the CD was stuck in there originally.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a8/msgs/71312.phtml">CD ERROR</a></li></ul>
