Default CEL is back!

My car was sitting for... 11 days and I finally started it this morning to drive it to work. It acted like it does in the severe cold when it misfires. Shortly the CEL came on. I stopped it and restarted it and it was fine, but the CEL remained. I just pulled and cleared codes. I have to find my Ross-Tech invoice to register the software, so I don't have a listing of what all the codes are...

5 Faults Found:
16705 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28): Implausible Signal - P0321 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16825 - P0441 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16684 - P0300 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

16691 - Cylinder 7 Misfire Detected - P0307 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
16686 - P0302 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Default The answer maybe Techron: big bottle of fuel injection cleaner in a full tank of gas.

Do a search for "Techron" in this forum.

Well, my gas guage isn't sticking like it used to, so I guess that gunk had to migrate elsewhere!

Don't think the speed sensor thing is a big deal...probably not your problem, just the misfire on cylinder 7. Probably won't come back.

Would put some Techron in there and let it do some work.

My car had the same symptoms as you're describing. Techron fixed it. No problems with the gas gauge.

Default When I first got the car the gas guage was slow to show it was fueled...

I went through some techron and it fixed the slow gas guage. Guess I need to invest in some again.

Default I've noticed my gas gauge act weird once: when I had the engine running...

...while pumping gas FOLLOWING turning the engine off while the gas was still pumped into the tank.

Also, my misfire story started the day after I filled up an almost empty tank (less than 35 miles left, according to the trip computer.). No problem coming home from the gas station (3 miles). The misfiring engine problem occured the first time I started the engine the following morning.
