So, I've had the recurring and worsening:
1 Fault Found:
01367 - Central Locking Pump Run Time Exceeded (Likely Leak)
These pumps are prone to breaking and I've had this problem since I bought the car. Today I replaced it with a relatively cheap lock pump on Ebay ($230/new).
FYI: The original pump # is 8LO 862 257 B, I called the dealer and he quoted me $560 for a new 8LO 862 257 N pump. That model is in the S4's and it looks completely identical to the old model.
It took me about 30 minutes total to remove and replace, pretty easy. Unfortunately, the problem is still there. Has anyone tracked down and fixed a leak? Any tips? Is there a certain area that is more likely to be leaking?
Thanks
Tony
