I don't know about the low beam, but removing the headlight assembly is pretty easy -- just 5 screws and it's out...takes about two minutes. The corner lamp is attached to the headlight assembly and it all comes out together.
If this is helpful...a short step by step.
1. Open the hood. Remove the painted trim piece below the headlight that fills the gap between the headlight and the bumper. There is one small flat phillips screw, located near the inside lower corner of each headlight, just above the bumper. On the other end of this trim piece two plastic pegs snap it into the fender. Take out the screw, pull the trim forward and wiggle it to pop it out of the fender.
2. With the trim out of the way, remove two lower screws anchoring the bottom of the headlight assembly. (Note - When re-installing, leave these lower screws loose, lift and adjust the position of the headlight assembly, then tighten)
3. Pry off those two round plastic caps found on the top side, and remove the two screws. The headlight and corner lamp assembly slides forward. Disconnect the electrical connections and it's out.
