Default changing date ?

Ok, so I didn't know that you could change the time on the dash a few weeks ago because I always did that through the old nav menu. But, how do you change the date which appears just below the time ?

Only changeable via the NAV menu, but I prefer to remove the date from the display.

Default No !! I love the date ! My battery went dead with all of the Nav Plus testing I did and I never..

gave that a thought. I already sold the switch
so I can't even hook it up temporarily. Anyone else know of a way ? Maybe it's a setting in vag-com somewhere. In case I can't, how do you turn off the date ? Don't want to look at 1999 forever.

thanks
