Changing Spark Plugs
Again with my situation, I just bought a '99 A8 4.2q with 45,000 miles on it. What kind of plugs should I use and when should I replace them? My GTI had iridium plugs good for 60k miles. Anything else I need to look out for that is more related to time not mileage.

Look back a few pages and you will see my sparkplug post. I used NGK platinums
You can not go wrong changing the plugs they are cheap and it is a half hour job for anyone who does not know anything about cars. You just need a few tools and it is very easy. Again get onto audipages and download the step by step procedure.
