Drove me nuts to find the issue. the vag was pointing me all over the place. Reason for that is it was sucking in so much air that I was getting o2 sensor and all kinds of other fails. But I figured it out after a long while. I checked hoses, etc but I found the SUCKING SOUND when I started to spray TB cleaner around the manifold and it was on the left side front. To replace the gasket is easy but lots to take apart to get to it. the gasket Is around $30 I think I paid for it from parts authority. You should be fine once it is done.

do you think of the eibach springs you've got on your car?
Also curious how much lower is your A8, and whats the spring's stiffness?

the rating but it feels like a stock ride still smooth but no bottoming out. I run stock shocks also. I am do for replacement soon on those. But I do like the ride.
