I found this on ebay germany. very nice 1995 A8 with modified front bumper and headlights I believe. I love to have those bi-xenons modified into my 97 A8, I wonder how hard it would be to fit it in without changing the front end.

Paul,this would be a very nice mod to consider as well? How hard do you think it would be?

that concersion was? I've heard that the fender cutout in the pre-facelift models is different, so the one piece headlights are not a drop-in. I'd also like to know how hard it was to get that facelift bumper on a pre-facelift model (like mine).

One '98 S8's owner replaced headlight to one-piece bi-xenon headlight. For this, he was forced to replace: front bamper, bonnet, front wings, front panel, both radiators(motor & A/C), panel for fans. These was done by OOOO dealer.
I'dont know how much its cost.
I think, far better way - to sale old car and buy another with proper year.
Yet another reason - restore crushed car.

If you notice, it has the 00 and newer style side marker lights, which means it has new quarter panels, new front bumper, I believe radiator supports, wiring changes for the lights, etc.

Don't know if you saw, but there is a new poster here who has a 98 and did this (without bixenons), he owns a body shop and replaced the whole front end basically. Do a search for it in the last 3 weeks, use "paulw facelift" or somethintg like that. The guy's car pictures are dark, his car is painted a Porsche dark grey as I recall.
