Default Chrome Mirrors

I was wondering if any of you guys know where I can find chrome mirror covers that are the same size on both sides of the car, which is what my UK spec 4.2 Quttro Sport has got. It is a 1996 model but seems to be the same style as the ones on PaulW's website.

Cheers

Matthew

I think PaulW has or had the same-size sets. Email him and ask.

Default I think you are out of luck

I take it that you have a RHD car. There is no company that offers the chrome mirror cover for the older style mirrors in a large right side mirror cap, which would also be found on the 1999 US bound A8.

Default Re: Is this the same for US 2000 cars?

Are there chrome mirror caps available for a 2000 A8? If not, can you purchase the enitre S8 assemblies?

Thanks,

Stephen

Default Maybe, but you would defintely need new mirrors, they are different size, I have the driver's side

See how they are shaped different, probably just have to get a right side mirror from the stealer, but I don't know if it comes with the black strip on the bottom, but you could always get that too if it's different.

But then again, it might not fit. But I would say probably so.

Default You need the new caps

They are cast aluminum. They usually go for about $360-$425 on www.ebay.de

Or you can get some plastic chrome plated mirror cover caps.

They are outlined in the url below.

http://www.audipages.com/upgrades/chromemirrornew.html</a
