Chrome moulding around side windows tarnished
#11
Here's how to restore the plastic coated chrome back to original condition. Two step process. 1 take Hob Brite which you can get in any supermarket and rub along chrome for 20 to 30 seconds, Wipe off but you won't see much difference but do not skip this step. Then use Autoglym paint renovator and again rub in for 30 to 40 seconds and wife off. Hey presto tarnish removed. Try doing in 4 to 6 inch sections. It takes a while to do whole trim around the windows but effects are worth it.

USA?
I'm in the USA and it appears these are UK products? Anyone have any idea for USA equivalents?

The google machine says Hob Brite is a ceramic or glass cooktop cleaner. That makes sense based on the translated bit from the manual on the preceeding page which mentions that the protective is brittle like a ceramic tile.
